The Dog Den requires current DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus), Rabies, Bordetella, and a clean fecal exam (within the last 12 months) for parasites. We also require that animal is on flea & tick preventative.

Do you accept puppies?

Yes – not younger than 10 Weeks as long as they have completed their 2nd round vaccination series.

Do you require a reservation?

Yes, we do require reservations as we do have a capacity and a 1:15 staff to dog ratio that we adhere to. You can do it online from this website for daycare and boarding if you are an existing customer.

Do you have nap/rest time?

Yes, all dogs are kenneled for 1 hour over lunch break. They also get kenneled for rotations: 2-3 hours play-1 hour rest. Dogs also take naps throughout the day in the playgroups when they get tired.

Can I have a tour?

You bet! Just arrive during our open hours.

What do I need to bring for our boarding stay?

Please bring your dogs food in pre-portioned baggies. This ensures your dog stays on their current diet and they are getting the exact amount that you specify. You may also bring a chew toy, blanket and bedding but keep in mind that those items can get destroyed by other dogs. No large bags of dog food will be accepted. We do not have room for these items.

Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered in order to come to your facility?

We do require daycare dogs to be spayed/neutered between 6 months and 1 year. We may need to suspend daycare if the dogs becomes unmanageable.  This is not a requirement for boarding.

Can I pick up my dog at any time from boarding?

You will fill out a form on drop-off with your boarding information. This will include a specific time you intend to pick up your dog. Pickups are during business hours. We do charge an additional $15 for each dog after 9:00am.

What is the difference between Boarding with daycare and Boarding without daycare?

If you choose daycare with your boarding then your dog will be out mingling with other dogs in a group. Without daycare we ensure your dog gets out of their kennel every 2 hours for potty breaks and to stretch their legs.
